More concrete...this time it's stepping stones for my side garden.

a 60# bag of sand mix makes 9 stones 12" diameter, 1" thick.

full of promise...





disaster...

think leveling the sand surface...use a level...how about using tubes cut into 1" sections?...the rock seems too thick...i am going to try to rescue these pieces with grout...they will not withstand the harshness of winter...the mix was too stiff...at what point do you weaken the piece substancially by adding too much water?
